Funny Game – The Perfect Game For Families, Groups, & Children

Have you ever been to a party, family get together, or just a fun date/game night with friends and you played one of those games that was just boring (and somewhat awkward cause it was so silly and childish)? I think we all have. Have you ever gone online to look for a real fun and funny game for that next game night, but all you could find were silly juvenile type games? Been there – done that!

I wanted to provide one of the many games that I have played that is hilarious and that everyone will find funny and enjoy. It is an extremely fun game, and perfect for that next game night, date night, family reunion, family game night, or get-together with neighbors or friends. Plus, if you are going to play a game that is funny and embarrasses you – you might as well have everyone be embarrassed right!

RECKLESS DRESS UP

# of Players: 6 or more

Objects Needed: Articles of clothing: shirt, pants, socks, gloves, hat, shoes, coat, & blindfold.

Some games are competitive and require strategy, while others are meant to laugh and just have fun… this is one of them! Divide those playing into 2 teams, and in preparation, gather these items for each team: a pair of mis-matched gloves, blindfold, funny hat, shirt, large coat, baggy pants, socks, and shoes. (It is of course best if the clothing is old or could possibly get stretched out, and each team needs their own set of clothes).

Place each team’s clothes in their own separate piles at one end of the room. At “go,” one person from each team will race to their own team’s pile, place the blindfold on, put on the two gloves first, and then put on every other clothing article. Once a player has put on every article of clothing, they will take the blindfold off, quickly take all the clothes off, and go and tag the next person on their team (if the weather permits, play this game outside where there is more room). In relay race style, the next person will then have to come to the pile and do the same thing. The first team to get each teammate there to the pile, put on / take off the clothes, and back to the starting line is the winner!

To add a fun twist, go outside and try a different variation of this game. As in the description above, each team will have their own pile of clothes. A starting line will be formed and each team’s pile of clothes will be by them at the starting line. At ‘go’ – the first teammate will race to put on the clothes. Once all the items are on, they will have to run down, touch the middle line 30 feet away and come back and tag their next teammate. Once the next person has been tagged, the first person will quickly take the clothes off and the next person will start putting them on. The 2nd person can not start running until all the clothes are on. This repeats until one team has got all their players to the middle line and back – they are the winner!

Now You Can Learn Spanish Free Online

If you’ve ever had the desire to learn Spanish but found it nearly impossible to make it to your local university for scheduled classes or even to a community center for once a week courses, it’s time to take advantage of free Spanish courses online and be on your way to mastering the language. Whether you’re looking to increase your odds of finding a job or just wanting to be able to communicate on your next vacation to a Spanish speaking country, take advantage of the internet to help you achieve your goals and learn Spanish.

I had taken three years of college Spanish courses but found myself focusing on other classes or forgetting the material the following week when I returned to class. And not until I discovered the ease of learning online did I achieve the ability to communicate in the way I had always hoped. Now you too can learn Spanish free online.

There are a number of courses offered that give you the basics and don’t differ too much from each other. If you’re looking for a fun and entertaining course, I recommend the PBS program, Destinos. This is a 52 episode soap opera that allows you to follow the story while increasing the skill level with each new episode. And it’s completely free. You can choose which episodes to watch and review them at any time. I still occasionally view episodes for practice.

For the more serious student, Rocket Spanish offers one of the better courses to learn Spanish online. The materials are easy to follow and extremely informative. The full program is an eight week program designed for students of all levels and extremely easy to follow. What takes some people two years to learn in a traditional method is broken down to a couple months of learning. As far as learning Spanish online, this is the most effective program available.

And Rocket Spanish offers a free six day program to help anyone get started learning Spanish online. The free lessons offer audio tracks, lessons and activities from the eight week program that will get most people the basics of speaking Spanish.

Golf is a Funny Game

I was chatting with Fred Greene of Golf Smarter the other day and was aware of how often we broke into laughter during the course of our conversation. There are many things which made us laugh, and I am only too aware that my jaw got a great work out!

Both of us are passionate about golf, and both of us have found our way to forming a marriage between our passion and our employment. Golf makes me smile a lot and I can tell that it does the same for Fred.

There are many aspects of golf which I dearly love. It is a friendly game and a wonderful way in which to meet new people. My home is in the Isle of Man; although I’m lucky enough to spend a fair amount of time in California (even though it’s quite a commute!). It was a gentleman (an avid golfer) who lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, who put me in touch with Fred who also lives in California. There are very few games which put people together from all over the world in such an easy and comfortable manner.

Part of what leads to that ease of getting to know someone is the shared passion for the game whilst another part is the amount of time it takes to play a round of golf together with the gentle pace of the game. A further aspect is the fact that you can be almost any age or fitness level and still be able to play golf. And then of course your level of accomplishment doesn’t affect the play of the other people who you are playing with. Golf is pretty much unique in this combination of facts.

Cricket is another game which affords plenty of time to get to know a fellow spectator, as a gentleman pointed out the other day. It provides a great “networking opportunity” as you bond over your shared passion. But you can’t play cricket on your own and your level of ability will affect the overall game. Tennis requires too much energy to leave much time for pleasantries and you again cannot play alone. Can you think of any sport which provides the same opportunities to “connect” that golf does?

Aside from the friends you can make through golf, there are many other things which make it a very special game. I have already mentioned that you can play it alone or with others and level of ability doesn’t cause issues. A far greater thing however is what golf teaches you as a person.

I played yesterday with a friend who passed comment on how much her temperament had altered since she had started to play golf, both on and off the course. She is now a more placid and person; she was always determined. Golf teaches you the mental skills which are necessary in life in general because it provides you with immediate and dramatic feedback upon your thoughts and actions. As you learn to control your emotions and direct your focus more appropriately, these skills can then be put to good use in every other area of your life.

Cause and effect are seen very clearly in golf, as your thoughts control your arms and then the club and ultimately the ball. The impact of your thoughts are therefore illuminated; you can see very clearly what needs a little work or practice. As your control of the golf ball increases, you inevitably grow as a person.
